• Qualification: The positions require successful candidates to have a valid class G driver’s license or equivalent. You must be able to complete MTO training courses, including defensive tactics and Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) training. You must possess oral French language skills at the advanced level (bilingual position(s) only). Proficiency level will be verified by an Ontario Public Service-approved evaluator.

• Experience: You can collect and critically evaluate information to make timely, objective decisions. You can identify and assess compliance with legislation and regulations and determine appropriate corrective actions to meet regulatory requirements. You must be able to conduct inspections of drivers and vehicles, operate weight equipment, utilize ramps, and inspect vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Age limit: 25 to 45 years of age limit.
