- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Candidates must obtain a BLS Provider certificate within 30 days of hire. They should also have a Medical Assistant certification from one of the following organizations within six months of hire:

- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent or one year of job-specific experience is required. Required licensure/certification can be substituted for education or experience.
